Andrew Mueller

Andrew is an avid outdoorsman located in Frederick, Maryland.  He developed a fondness for mountains and trails from a young age, travelling the world with his family before settling in the southeast.  Andrew grew up mountain biking and hiking the rugged trails of Pisgah National Forest.  This passion led him to Appalachian State University, where he earned a degree in Geographic Information Systems and Sustainable Development.  His interest in trailbuilding professionally was cultivated in NC’s high country by building downhill courses for races at Hawksnest resort and completing a mapping/trail building internship at Rocky Knob Park in Boone.  Since becoming a trail professional, Andrew’s interests have expanded to include trail design, machine operation, and bike park construction.  Andrew’s perfect trail is a rugged, backcountry singletrack that combines effective trailbuilding techniques with natural terrain features to create an unforgettable mountain bike ride.
